Pittenweem has a number of galleries and shops, with art exhibitions running throughout the year.

Pittenweem Arts Festival offers a wonderful variety of art by local and international artists. Note: Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pittenweem Arts Festival is cancelled for 2021.

The East Neuk offers a wide variety of dining opportunities, many of which focus on seafood. In Pittenweem the Dory Bistro and Gallery offers an excellent menu for eating out. For a more informal setting try the Larachmhor Tavern, which serves good quality fresh local pub food. In St Monans, a mile's walk or a short drive from Sea Glint, you’ll find East Pier, for lobster, langoustines & dressed crab. Indoor and outdoor seating. For a special meal try Craig Millar @ 16 West End offering fresh local produce in beautifully flavoured contemporary dishes. Enjoy the wonderful sea views as you dine. Recently refurbished, the Dreel Tavern in Anstruther offers a wide range of good quality pub food in a traditional atmosphere.

Children and adults can safely enjoy a range of water sports in the sandy curve of Elie Bay.

The Fife Coastal Path offers beautiful shore walks from the Forth Road Bridge to St Andrews.

It also goes without saying that the Fife Coast offers a remarkable selection of outstanding golf courses, including St Andrews, Lundin Links, Crail, Elie and Anstruther. The British Golf Museum in St Andrews is a great way to spend an hour or two.

The day trip to the Isle of May is a wonderful experience for all generations.
